Full-Time Executive Producer

The Mozilla Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit organization dedicated to making the internet a global public resource, open and accessible to all.

Position Summary: The Executive Producer will be a creative strategist supporting the foundation in the design, launch, and efficient operations of an in-house content studio.

Responsibilities:

• Editorial Programming: Establish editorial output volume and targets with stakeholders. Build storylines, refine messaging, and create digestible narratives. Develop and maintain content calendars.
• Editorial Production: Produce, edit, and commission content (short and long-form) independently managing resources. Collaborate with teams to create multimedia assets.
• Team Leadership: Manage junior colleagues as part of their development.

Requirements:

• Experience: 10+ years in professional writing and editing, preferably in tech or business publishing.
• Skills: Exceptional editorial skills (blogs, articles, podcasts, social media copy, etc.) for business and consumer audiences. Strong news judgment, current events knowledge.
• Fluency: Proficient in verbal and written English; other languages a plus.
