Join a dynamic team as a Field Application Engineer, impacting crane modernization projects. Travel to crane sites, gather data for designs, quotes, and installations. Drive efficiency, safety, and excellence.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:- Collect mechanical and electrical data, creating documentation.
- Provide field application support and assist in selecting subcontractors.
- Analyze spatial configurations and optimize integration.
- Identify and address OSHA compliance issues.
- Assess facilities to devise equipment removal and installation methods.
- Collaborate with Design and Sales Engineers.
- Review contract documents and sales proposals.
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on technical expertise in crane installation.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proven leadership abilities and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word.
- Willingness to travel and work at heights.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Commitment to safety.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
