Full-Time Field Service Engineer (Analytical Instruments)

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will provide field service support for customer sites in Northern California, and the greater San Francisco Bay area. Support will include maintenance, repair, and calibration duties as well as troubleshooting operational issues. Residency required in the Greater San Francisco or San Jose area and within 1-hour drive of either SFO or SJC International Airports. Will occasionally provide field service support for other customers within Canada and the US.

• Travel to customer sites and perform services on TOC equipment
• Plan, Schedule and Confirm customer services
• Maintain admin duties, parts inventory, and trainings
• Take customer calls, participate in sales rhythm calls, and service team meetings
• Respond to on-demand contract services
• Write clear and concise reports for customers
• Special projects and new hire training
• Work closely with Sales to provide insight into new instrument and service opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety
• Domestic travel 70%

Required: Associate degree in a Science, Technical, or Engineering discipline; or equivalent education with at least 3 years of experience in ultra-pure water applications or servicing analytical instrumentation. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or Physics; or equivalent education with at least 1-year experience in ultra-pure water applications or servicing analytical instrumentation.
