Job Details
Primary Function: Provide support for planned maintenance and other actions in an assigned region. Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products, ensuring service agreements and warranty obligations are fulfilled.
Essential Job Duties:
- Perform scheduled maintenance activities, including system inspections, software updates, and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products within designated timeframes.
- Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation.
- Maintain knowledge of O.R. protocol and HIPAA standards.
- Complete administrative duties, including spare parts inventory and expense reports.
- Maintain Intuitive-provided items such as tooling, vehicles, laptops, and iPads.
- Support Intuitive teams to facilitate company goals.
- Provide feedback to HQ and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Complete required training for equipment and professional development.
- Maintain all aspects of temporarily assigned territories, including customer support and training.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Conduct training sessions.
- Understand and comply with department and company policies.
- Provide management with quarterly territory reviews.
- Complete all administrative tasks in the required time frame.
- Demonstrate individual characteristics expected of Intuitive personnel.
- Ability to travel ~80%.
- Reside within 30 miles of an airport in the assigned region.
- Willing to work a flex shift or second shift.
- Clean driving record.
- Able to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1200 lbs.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years of Field Service Experience preferred
- Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent training/experience preferred
- Proven track record of troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems preferred
- Good written and oral communication skills
- General computer skills
- Excellent administrative and record keeping skills
