Avery Dennison is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment in the Central US.
Core Duties:
- Installation & Integration: Lead on-site installations, integrate with customer infrastructure, and ensure proper configuration.
- Troubleshooting & Resolution: Act as the technical point of escalation, performing diagnostics in person and remotely.
- Proactive Maintenance: Perform predictive and preventative maintenance by analyzing system data.
- Remote & On-Site Support: Provide real-time assistance via phone and video. Travel is required up to 75% of the time.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the Field Service industry
- Must reside in the Central US region near a major airport. Preference for Chicago O’Hare (ORD), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Minneapolis–Saint Paul (MSP), Kansas City (MCI), or Indianapolis (IND).
- Hands-on experience with equipment used in the apparel industry.
- Proven ability to perform remote troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (110V and 220V).
- Exceptional communication skills.
