Note: All candidates must live in California and work remotely from California in a PST time zone. This role will work 8am-5pm PST and must be able to work twice a month on Wednesdays till 10pm PST and one Saturday or Sunday a month for 3 hours.
As part of the “Corporate Financial Reporting Systems” (CFRS) department, you will provide maintenance and support to Avery Dennison’s corporate financial consolidation system (Hyperion HFM). This system is used by all Avery Dennison businesses worldwide and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Supported reporting modules include Actual, Plan, Forecasts, Tax Forecasts, Orders Entered and several Financial Schedules.
CFRS is a geographically dispersed corporate finance department providing IT application services with members in the US and the UK.
- Security Administration
- Manage security access to the system for new users and for users that need changes to their access.
- Carefully follow established procedures when making security additions or changes.
- Administer scheduled security reviews and verifications.
- End User Support
- Monitor the support request queue and support the resolution of end user questions. (600+ users)
- Reporting Module Preparation
- Assist in the preparation of each module for its reporting cycle.
- Maintain administrative documentation.

- Review requests for complete and correct information.
- Work with the end user community to resolve open items.
- Obtain appropriate approvals and perform system verifications.
- Documentation Maintenance
- Ensure the Corporate Entity Hierarchies and COA documentation is kept up to date, reflecting additions and changes made to the system.
- Compliance
- Gather and maintain large amounts of documentation.
- Ensure SOX controls are being adhered to.
- Carefully follow established procedures.
- Training
- Provide training to our end-users via formal classroom instruction, online sessions, and one-on-one sessions.
- Attain and maintain a strong working knowledge of the corporate financial reporting system.
