Full-Time Financial Specialist

Finance Specialist will be a key member of the team responsible for budgeting and forecasting, reporting month-end results with analysis, and publishing performance against key KPI’s for the Americas portion of Hitachi Solutions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Personnel Cost Monitoring and Expenses Forecasting:
   • Track new employee hires, department transfers, and departures.
   • Coordinate with offshore and contractor management teams for expense tracking.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and track expenses.
   • Prepare month-end financial entries.
2. Reporting and Analysis:
   • Prepare, distribute, and review month-end reports with team members.
   • Perform variance analysis.
   • Provide financial information and analysis upon request.
   • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of weekly and monthly KPI reports.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of experience in business finance
• Experience in the professional services industry and with D365 is desirable
• Proficient with standard office applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, functions, pivot tables, vlookup)
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be a Costa Rica citizen or able to work within the United States without sponsorship.
