Assent is seeking a GenAI Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and technical delivery of AI-powered solutions.
This role reports to the Senior Director, Technology & Data Solutions and provides architectural direction to GenAI Developers.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to influence and collaborate.
Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead the design of production-grade GenAI solutions.
- Develop and maintain reusable patterns, reference architectures, design standards, and code templates.
- Provide solution design leadership and architectural oversight for all AI initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging LLM capabilities and guide model selection, integration strategy, and implementation approach.
Engineering Leadership
- Provide technical guidance, oversight, training, and enablement to GenAI program developers.
- Translate solution designs into clear engineering specifications and development plans.
- Oversee code quality, development workflows, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
- Ensure solutions include monitoring, auditability, fallback paths, and long-term maintainability.
Governance & Responsible AI
- Implement technical guardrails for secure data handling, privacy, PII isolation, logging, and responsible AI usage.
- Govern citizen-developer activity and ensure consistency with enterprise standards.
- Partner with Security, Privacy, Legal, and Data Governance to identify risks and ensure compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine use cases, assess feasibility, and translate operational needs into technical workflows.
- Support the AI Champions ecosystem with patterns, guidance, and technical enablement.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, intake, and prioritization for enterprise AI initiatives.
- Work closely with Enterprise Integrations, Data engineering, and Enterprise Architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technical roles with demonstrated progression.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying production-grade LLM applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or DSPy.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience designing secure and responsible AI solutions.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear architectural designs.
- Proven experience providing technical guidance to developers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
