Full-Time General Maintenance Technician

General Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintaining the assigned property, including performing various duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration, cooking, and restaurant facility equipment, IT services, according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes. This role also supports site business goals and objectives.

1. Install and maintain kitchen and refrigeration equipment
2. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain or replace HVAC units and electrical systems
3. Perform general facility repairs, upgrades, and maintenance (plumbing, exhaust fans, landscaping, lighting, signage, exterior cleanliness, etc.)
4. Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs as needed, including production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service
5. Perform IT skills, such as PULSE installation, network drops, phone system maintenance, and computer repair.
6. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for required maintenance and service.
7. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust as needed.
8. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and restaurant facilities.
9. Perform plumbing and carpentry maintenance.
10. Coordinate and direct maintenance of company vehicles.
11. Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
12. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report unusual situations to proper supervision.
13. Assist with fire prevention by checking fire suppression systems and extinguisher certifications.
14. Operate company vehicles.
15. Maintain accurate records and receipts for purchases, repairs, and service requests.
16. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
17. Complete all daily/weekly/monthly assignments, inspections, and reports.
