Full-Time General Maintenance Technician

General Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintaining assigned property. Duties include installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration, cooking, and restaurant facility equipment, IT services.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Install and maintain kitchen and refrigeration equipment
2. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain/replace HVAC units and electrical systems
3. Perform general facilities repairs, upgrades, and maintenance (plumbing, exhaust fans, landscaping, lighting, signage, exterior cleanliness)
4. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed, including production equipment
5. Perform IT tasks (PULSE installation, network drops, phone system maintenance, computer repair)
6. Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service
7. Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test, and adjust as needed
8. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and restaurant facilities
9. Perform plumbing and carpentry functions
10. Coordinate and direct maintenance of company vehicles
11. Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
12. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and unusual situations and report them to proper supervision
13. Assist with fire prevention (checking fire suppression systems, extinguishers, reporting needs to vendor and director)
14. Operate company vehicle
15. Maintain accurate records and receipts for purchases, repairs, and service requests
16. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas
17. Complete daily/weekly/monthly assignments, inspections, and reports

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in commercial refrigeration maintenance repair
• Experience/knowledge of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
• Experience/knowledge of hand tool use
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
