The General Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintaining each assigned property. This includes performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration, cooking and restaurant facility equipment, IT services, according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
- Install and maintain kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain/replace HVAC units and electrical systems.
- Perform general facilities repairs, upgrades and maintenance related to plumbing, exhaust fans, landscaping, lighting, signage, exterior cleanliness.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
- Repair production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
- Perform IT skills, including installation of PULSE, Network drops, phone system maintenance, and computer repair.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust as needed.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and restaurant facilities.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Coordinate and Direct maintenance of company vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations.
- Assist with fire prevention by checking fire suppression system and extinguisher certification dates and reporting needed service.
- Operate Company vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records and receipts for purchases, repairs and service requests.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Complete all daily/weekly/monthly assignments, inspections and reports.
