General Maintenance Technician

Maintains each assigned property from the curb in. This includes installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration, cooking, and restaurant facility equipment, IT services, according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the site’s business goals and objectives.

1. Install and maintain kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
2. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain or replace HVAC units and electrical systems.
3. Perform general facilities repairs, upgrades, and maintenance related to plumbing, exhaust fans, landscaping, lighting, signage, exterior cleanliness, etc.
4. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
5. Perform IT skills including, but not limited to, installation of PULSE, Network drops, phone system maintenance, and computer repair.
6. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
7. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust as needed.
8. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and restaurant facilities.
9. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
10. Coordinate and direct maintenance of company vehicles.
11. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
12. Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
13. Assist with fire prevention by checking fire suppression system and extinguisher certification dates and reporting needed service.
14. Operate Company vehicle.
15. Maintain accurate records and receipts for purchases, repairs, and service requests.
16. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
17. Complete all daily/weekly/monthly assignments, inspections, and reports.
