Full-Time Hardware & Feature Introduction Consultant

As a Hardware & Feature Introduction consultant, you will be responsible for:

• E2E Introduction of new Transport Hardware and Features to TEF Germany.
• Design, Tool Spec, User Acceptance Test, Planning Guidelines & Concepts.
• Supportive e2e responsibility for central engineers to introduce new HW/Features
• Coordinating tasks of profile “Hardware Acceptance”
• Generic system design including parameterization
• Detailed system design (incl DCN concepts etc…)
• Development of Tool Specifications to implement new HW/features to OSS
• Creation of the MoP (Method of Procedure) as configuration and planning instructions for regional planners and subcontractors
• Creation of operational management concepts based on TEF operational standards
• User Acceptance Tests for new developments
• Technical ownership of First Office Applications (FOA)
• Creation of planning guidelines
• Execution of test scenarios as verification or third level support

Service description:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of proven experience
• Skills: Ability to deal with a high number of involved stakeholders
• Seniority Level to work with higher management and senior Engineers
• Fluent German & English in written and spoken language
• Proof Track of Experience in Transport Networks (Clocks, Router, Microwave, WDM, DCN Networks)
