Job Details
The role of Hardware Response Technician is really important. You will have a key role in responding to daily hardware faults, de-installations, footage retrievals, firmware upgrades, SD card upgrades, fleet check audits and site weekly visits. Day-to-day you will do a variety of different tasks depending on the current workload demands, from visiting sites, liaising with customers when arriving on site and fixing hardware faults. This can be anything from repairing the cameras, monitors and cables, depending on the fault. You will also be responsible for all of our footage retrieval requests, firmware upgrades and SD card swaps.
Additional to this you will be the main labour source for our de-installations, where you will attend sites to remove our kit safely from our customers vehicles and sending this back to our workshop.
Key responsibilities:
- Health and safety documentation.
- Complete the “Job Sheet” in full.
- Perform the allocated work on time, accurately and with a high quality of workmanship.
- Troubleshoot customer queries.
- Maintain the accuracy of assigned van stock.
- Ensure the Company policies and guidelines are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain pro-active daily communication with customers.
- Focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
Ability to prioritise and keep to deadlines. Ability to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement and showing logical decision making. Team player who is confident and a self-starter. Problem solving ability, a pro-active approach and “can do” attitude. A strong desire to effect continuous improvements to the systems and processes. Good planning and organisational skills. Excellent communication and listening skills. A polite, confident and friendly manner. Uses their initiative. Flexibility and quick-thinking. Well-organised and diligent, even under pressure.
Package: £25k-30k salary. Mon-Friday, Overtime, weekend work. Career progression plan London living wage allowance, 3.5-7% Paid Door to door. Yearly bonus scheme. Length of service scheme. Company events. Sick pay. Pension.
