As a health editor for Bionews, you will work on deadline to edit informative, factual, andengagingarticlesforouraudiencesofrare diseasepatientsandcaregivers.Articlescanrangefrom lighterfeaturestoriestomorecomplexresearch-basedresource pages.

The perfect candidate for this role is an excellent editor with a background in health/medicaljournalismwhoissharpanddetail-oriented,yet alsoempathetic,andhasgoodinstinctsforwhat makes great content for our audiences. They should be able to edit a wide range of topics andapproaches — from condition-based educational content to profiles and first persons — that can help patients and caregivers in their daily lives. They should also be versatile and able to jugglemultiplestoriesindifferentstages(firstdraft, secondedit,etc.).

Thisisafull-timeremotepositionreportingto theContentDirector.CandidatesintheU.S.are preferred, but strong international candidates will be considered. A paid edit test along witheditingsamplesarerequiredaspartof theapplicationprocess.
