The Role
Legend is hiring an iGaming Content Editor, reporting directly to our Content Manager. As the Content Editor for our North American markets, you’ll be acting as a senior member in a high-performing team that is driving high-quality content for the North American market. You’ll be working as part of a small Content and SEO team to deliver high-quality casino content. In this role, we value diverse perspectives and encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification listed.
Your Impact
- Quality Focus: Set an excellent example of what high-quality content can be for North America. Be a gatekeeper for all content that goes onto our product, QAing pages as needed to upskill our team and ensure our content is SEO-optimised and aligns to our style guide.
- Champion expertise: Be the ambassador for Legend, relentlessly improving our team’s gaming knowledge specific to the EN regions.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up to date with the latest market and compliance changes, industry trends, gaming news and changing user needs to proactively adjust and improve our product by sharing this with your teams.
- Contribute to Content Planning: Work with our onpage SEO specialists to draw up strategic seasonal content plans, scouting out new opportunities for growth in your market.
- Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams in the company, including Country Managers, Product, UX Design, and Engineering.
- Leadership: Managing external writers to ensure deadlines are being met and content is to a high standard.
- Editing, Proofreading, Writing & Publishing: Write new, and optimize existing, content to make it engaging for our North American audiences.
- SEO-Optimised Content: Producing optimised content that engages our audiences and meets SEO best practices, using tools like Ahrefs, SemRush and SurferSEO to recommend ways we can optimise our content.
- Audience Engagement: Use your auditing skills and keen eye to maintain content freshness and quality. You’ll be empowered to suggest new, innovative ways of engaging our iGaming audience and expanding our reach in the market.
What You’ll Bring
- iGaming know-how
- Proven content experience in the iGaming industry
- You have been responsible for editing, optimising and publishing web content using CMS tools
- Editorial precision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. You’ll also need to ensure your existing and future team adhere to the same level of quality. We expect native-level fluency.
- Attention to detail. Scouting out opportunities and making sure we get every little detail correct. Increasing efficiency of our processes and helping the team to proceed at pace whilst maintaining our best-in-class standards.
- SEO savvy. Hands-on experience in SEO from a previous role and experience using metrics to optimise content and analyse content performance. Experience with SEO tools like SEMRush or AHREFS.
