Full-Time Implementation Specialist, Mexico

Implementation Specialist, Mexico will deploy Shiji’s POS solutions for enterprise customers in the Americas region.

Responsibilities include:

• Executing technical tasks such as hardware installation, system configuration, upgrades, basic troubleshooting, and user training, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Ensuring seamless installations, addressing customer needs, and providing post-implementation support for a smooth "go-live" experience.
• Executing end-to-end Food & Beverage (F&B) POS implementation projects, understanding user requirements, installing hardware (servers, workstations, printers), configuring systems, testing connectivity, and ensuring proper cable setup.
• Providing user training (on-site or remotely) to increase user adoption and reduce operational disruptions.
• Performing POS version upgrades, minimizing disruptions to customer operations.
• Reporting critical issues and functional requests to appropriate internal teams (Product and Development) and following through to ensure timely resolution.
• Troubleshooting operational and application-related customer inquiries, providing consultative support.
• Delivering remote support post-implementation to assist with system usage.
• Preparing daily project reports and maintaining accurate records of implementation activities and outcomes.
• Attending internal training to stay current on new product developments and POS functionalities.

Requirements:

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in POS implementation, IT support, or similar technical roles within the hotel or F&B industries.
• Proficient with hospitality POS systems (super user role), demonstrating advanced knowledge of system functionalities, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Windows operating systems.
• Demonstrated experience in setting up and installing POS systems (hardware and software).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Valid passport with ability to travel within the Americas region (US, Mexico, Canada) up to 75% of the time.
• Willingness to be available for on-call support during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, hospitality or business field.
