Position Summary The Infrastructure and Operations Manager oversees IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations. This role manages daily IT system operations, a team of technology employees, collaborates with departments, and implements solutions for efficiency.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee IT operations (networks, servers, security).
- Manage IT Operations staff for optimal performance and coordination.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify operational improvements with senior management.
- Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements.
- Assess technology landscape and recommend upgrades/changes.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct training sessions for technology and security awareness.
- Supervise IT budgets, processing invoices, and monitoring expenditures.
- Manage service desk, tier 2 & 3 support services.
- Handle office setup/retirement processes (administration, vendors, scheduling).
- Manage technology asset management (hardware, software, processes).
- Manage corporate goals.
- Provide metrics/KPIs on infrastructure and operations.
- Oversee business systems (Azure Cloud, Google Workspace, OneLogin, Zoom, TeamViewer, ESET, etc).
- Document, update, and manage standard operating procedures.
- Mentor Information Technology Team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration.
- 10+ years IT management and operations experience.
- 8+ years managing technology employees.
- 5+ years experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, network security, and IT governance.
- Hybrid/remote environment management experience.
- Strong project management methodologies knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience managing a technology-driven team.
- Compliance regulations and risk management familiarity.
- Cybersecurity best practices and issue resolution knowledge.
- Meraki network familiarity.
Benefits
Salary range: $127,871 - $160,000. Annual incentive eligible. Remote work eligible.
