Infrastructure Project Manager - Contract Opportunity - Onsite in New York Metro Area
About This Position: We seek an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and installation of critical technology infrastructure in several NYC metro area offices. This hands-on role drives voice/data hardware and infrastructure cabling deployment to enhance employee and client experiences. Manage the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to successful implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and install voice/data hardware and network cabling across multiple locations.
- Gather technology requirements, collaborate with internal teams for high-level design & deployment.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones & stakeholder updates.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning to delivery (vendor & contractor management).
- Provide weekly status updates and track project milestones.
Skills/Requirements:
- 10-12+ years of experience in technology project management.
- Proven expertise with Cisco and Arista hardware, vendor management for installations.
- Deep knowledge of network integrations, data center builds, and corporate infrastructure.
- Proficiency in cabling and corporate services management.
- Ability to manage projects under high pressure, completing tasks on time & to spec.
Additional Information:
- Onsite requirements: 2-3 days/week in the New York Metro Area, including Fridays & Saturdays during installation phases.
