Integres is seeking an IT disaster recovery resource to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review of Site's Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for accuracy and sufficiency.
- Ensure all critical systems and services are identified.
- Verify personnel and key positions are accurately identified.
- Confirm that all hardware, software, and applications are included.
- Create detailed systems and architecture diagrams.
- Meet with Site Leadership and key personnel for:
- Risk assessment and business impact analyses of critical services and systems.
- Establish RTO and RPO for critical services and systems.
- Understanding and incorporating site's non-IT DRP and COOP plans.
Develop a new IT DRP, adhering to ISO 27001 standards, encompassing:
- Current IT inventory
- Data backup and verification SOPs
- Detailed semi-annual DRP testing program
- Business resumption plan
- Continuity of operations plan
- Incident management plan (IMP)
- Disaster recovery plan
- RACI charts for all DRP and COOP activities
- Annual update plan for DRP and COOP by local IT team
Present and review the IT DRP and COOP to Site Leadership. Edit the plan based on feedback.
Thoroughly review the finalized DRP and COOP with the site IT team. Supply copies to the OET Asst CIO for Infrastructure and Operations (Asst CIO I&O).
Perform the first semi-annual test of DRP and COOP components.
Select and test at least 2 components with the local IT team.
Submit test results and an after-action report to the site's IT team, site leadership, and OET Asst CIO I&O.
Education and Years of Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in implementing and managing disaster recovery and business continuity management programs.
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Ability to travel to MDH work sites.
- Current certification in at least one of the following:
- Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer (CDRE)
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM)
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
- Certified Business Continuity Vendor (CBCV)
Working technical knowledge of current systems, software, hardware, protocols, and standards.
Minimum Citizenship Status: US Citizen.
