Global Academy of Technology is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician. You will be the first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff, providing technical support.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain IT asset inventory.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrade of computer systems and software.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems.
- Create and maintain user accounts and permissions.
- Document support interactions in the help desk ticketing system.
- Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician.
- Strong understanding of computer systems and mobile devices.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
