Job Details

Global Academy of Technology is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician. You will be the first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff, providing technical support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and maintain IT asset inventory.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and upgrade of computer systems and software.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems.
  • Create and maintain user accounts and permissions.
  • Document support interactions in the help desk ticketing system.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and mobile devices.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
