Job Description:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will help deliver solutions into live operational service for our suite of products across our entire customer portfolio.

What you will be doing:

• Build, Commissioning, and upgrades of NEC Software Solutions bespoke Communication and CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) products solutions into our customer environments.
• Fault finding our product suite of solution/s at both hardware and software levels.
• Create, review, and update NEC Engineering documentation (e.g., workplans, work instructions, technical guides).
• Work professionally with internal teams to coordinate activities and gather/provide information.
• Work on customer sites (extensive travel, including overnight stays).
• Extensive customer contact (technical and non-technical).
• Work in a team and/or autonomously.
• Follow NEC Software Solutions outlined process & procedures.
• Complete activities within deadlines.
• Report any difficulties.
• Maintain a professional approach and attitude, and clean working environment.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety practices.

Who are you?

• Experienced in troubleshooting and problem solving
• Good understanding of Microsoft active directory / domain architecture
• Proven experience administering and working with Microsoft Windows 11, Windows Server up to 2022
• Proven Experience deploying Microsoft Windows and server Operating systems
• Proven Experience deploying Microsoft Windows Updates (WSUS)
• Working knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL (running backups, running queries, etc)
• Proven knowledge and experience of virtualization environments (Hyper-V or VMware)
• MS Business Applications experience (Excel, Visio, Word)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proven experience working to ITIL best practices
