I am Frank, Head of Security & IT at Ashby, looking for the first dedicated IT hire. I started my career with Linux servers, firewalls, and switches in data centers, moved to Corporate IT, assisting companies like Credit Karma, and Lattice in scaling. I then focused on Information Security. I have implemented IT tools and processes to improve efficiency.
Now I seek a dedicated IT hire to be the primary contact, continuing the IT function build-out. This role will include user-facing support and backend system work (e.g., Okta). I will provide guidance when needed.
Role Requirements:
- Strong customer service orientation and strategic thinking.
- Experience in owning the IT function.
- Attention to detail and execution focus.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in international remote environments.
- Experience setting up Okta, including HRIS sync, SCIM, and potentially Okta Workflows.
- Familiarity with Kandji or similar MDM.
- Knowledge of Apple Mac best practices and Google Workspace.
