Full-Time IT MES Engineer (Hydra)

MES Engineer shall support KOSTAL in operating shop floor IT landscape, especially Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Main objective: system maintenance and support, including rollout projects (requirements engineering, system customization, documentation, user training).

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Operating 11 HYDRA MES instances globally (technical & business process).
• Proactive MES system monitoring: identify potential issues, performance bottlenecks, and optimization areas.
• Regular health checks and system audits for optimal performance and reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance (updates, patches, upgrades) with stakeholders.
• Manage configuration changes to MES business processes adhering to change management.
• Provide technical and business process support to MES users (troubleshooting, answering questions, training).
• Collaborate with end-users and solution architect to meet needs.
• Participate in rollout projects for new HYDRA installations globally.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 4+ years as an MES Engineer or troubleshooting MES issues, experience in Automotive or discrete manufacturing.

Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting MES issues, detailed diagnostics, understanding of underlying infrastructure (Windows Server, Networking), webservers and web-technology.

Proven Experience in MES is mandatory.Experience in HYDRA is highly valued.
