Job Description:
Support KOSTAL in operating shop floor IT landscape, especially Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Main Objective: System maintenance and support, including rollout projects (requirements engineering, customization, documentation, training).
- Operate 11 HYDRA (MES) instances globally, technically and process-wise.
- Proactively monitor MES systems for issues, bottlenecks, and optimization areas.
- Conduct regular health checks and audits for optimal performance and reliability.
- Coordinate maintenance (updates, patches, upgrades) with stakeholders.
- Manage configuration changes according to change management processes.
- Provide technical and process support to users (troubleshooting, training).
- Collaborate with end-users and solution architects to meet needs.
- Participate in rollout projects to implement HYDRA in new sites.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Work Experience: 4+ years as an MES Engineer or in MES troubleshooting, preferably in Automotive or discrete manufacturing.
Technical Skills: Proven MES experience is required. Experience with HYDRA is highly desirable. Knowledge of underlying infrastructure (Windows Server, Networking), webservers, and web technologies.
Competencies: Excellent communication, customer orientation, and intercultural skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and pay attention to detail. Fluent English.
