Full-Time IT MES Engineer (Hydra)

Job Summary: Support KOSTAL's shop floor IT landscape, specifically Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 11 HYDRA (MES) instances globally (technical & business).
• Proactively monitor MES systems for issues, bottlenecks, and optimization.
• Conduct health checks and audits for optimal performance.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks (updates, patches, upgrades) with stakeholders.
• Manage MES process configuration changes.
• Provide technical and process support to MES users (troubleshooting, training).
• Collaborate with users to meet needs and requirements.
• Participate in HYDRA rollout projects at new sites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years' experience as an MES Engineer or MES troubleshooting.
• Experience in Automotive or discrete manufacturing.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting MES technical and business process issues.
• Knowledge of underlying infrastructure (Windows Server, Networking).
• Basic understanding of web servers and web technology.
• Proven MES experience is mandatory.
• Experience with HYDRA is highly desirable.
