Contractor IT Project Manager

100% remote in Portugal

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized IT Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring smooth execution, and maintaining effective communication across stakeholders. This position is tailored for individuals with extensive experience in IT project management, particularly in HR Payroll and Time systems like SuccessFactors.

1. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
2. Freelance – 12 months contract with extension – Up to 400eur per day
3. Participate in functional workshops and management meetings, providing insights and capturing key discussions.
4. Coordinate project team activities, monitor deliverables, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
5. Track project milestones, deadlines, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely delivery.
6. Provide support to the Project Manager (PM) and project team by scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing presentations.
7. Facilitate seamless communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
8. Support the implementation and adoption of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
9. Collaborate on the design, build, and realization of project deliverables, especially in HR-related systems.

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or project management support.
• Hands-on experience with HR Payroll and Time systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and senior management.
• Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Technical Knowledge:

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of HR-specific systems and processes is a plus.
