Full-Time IT SOX Senior Analyst - Internal Audit

This role is for an IT SOX Senior Analyst – Internal Audit position working for Trupanion.

The role will be remote with a focus on internal audit function. Working hours should allow for 4-5 hours of overlap with US Eastern Time.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of the IT internal audit plan.
• Conduct and document control testing in AuditBoard.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and business teams to evaluate control design and operational effectiveness.
• Analyze key systems and processes (Workday, Azure, SQL, Windows servers, SaaS/homegrown applications).
• Contribute to data governance, cybersecurity, and privacy assessments.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in IT audit, SOX compliance, or internal controls (ideally in a public accounting environment).
• Strong understanding of SOX requirements and frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT).
• Familiarity with key IT environments and control areas (user access, change management, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with AuditBoard (preferred) or similar GRC platforms.
• Knowledge of Workday, SQL, Windows servers, Azure, or related systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, curious, self-starting attitude.
