Full-Time IT Specialist

Duties

• You will plan the installation, testing, operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software to ensure the availability and functionality of enterprise systems.
• Analyze and maintain a network environment, which will support both Administrative and Tactical Development networks.
• Maintains network or systems operational statistics; coordinates deployment / support of standard applications; manage the establishment and operation of consolidated server farms.
• Monitor, review, and execute local policies / procedures, in order to ensure all Organic Government and Contractor Staffs have the information to perform the Fires Sustainment mission, within the constraints of the networked systems architecture.
• Integrate solutions into the existing information infrastructure or planned information system architecture.
• Develop policies and procedures for managing the use of system facilities or equipment.
• Evaluates the effectiveness and performance of Information Technology (IT) networks.
• Oversees the analysis of functional or system support problems.

• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
• This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 20% of the time.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• Obtain qualifications for DoD Directive (DoDD) 8140.01 DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Code 441 Network Operations Specialist within 6 months of hire (continued below)
• DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) - Maintain qualifications for continued assignment to this position. Level to achieve is Intermediate.
