Job Details

As an IT Engineer at Masabi, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our team has the necessary tools and support, regardless of location. You'll handle a diverse range of IT requests, collaborating closely with Finance and PeopleOps teams to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing professional IT support to Masabi employees by diagnosing and resolving technical and non-technical issues.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving various IT problems, including software, hardware, networking, and access management.
  • Assisting with procuring software licenses.
  • Supporting employee onboarding by configuring hardware and software.
  • Managing offboarding tasks, ensuring account closure and equipment return.
  • Tracking and managing IT hardware and assets throughout their lifecycle, including home working equipment.
  • Creating and updating IT documentation, internal knowledge bases, and self-service resources.
  • Supporting compliance efforts, assisting with PCI controls and frameworks such as SOC2 Type 2 and ISO27001.

About You:

  • Experience supporting enterprise software in an internal, user-facing role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (verbal and written), prioritizing clarity and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a distributed team.
  • People-focused mindset, committed to excellent customer service.
  • Curiosity about technology and eagerness to learn.
  • Proactive knowledge sharing and assistance to others.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Organized and effective time management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with operating systems like Windows, macOS, or Linux.
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira Service Management).
  • Understanding of user management systems (e.g., Active Directory, Google Workspace Admin).
  • Exposure to mobile device management (MDM) tools, ideally Intune.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Basic scripting language knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
