Pine Gate Renewables is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our growing Technology team.
The IT Support Specialist will provide outstanding customer support to our user community, assisting with technology problems ranging from account and workstation setup to troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-premise & remote end-user support, troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems.
- Track and manage service requests via email, phone, or in-person.
- Install, customize, and test hardware and software.
- Maintain inventory of all company hardware and software.
- Create and maintain user training and help documentation.
- Provide presentation support, including audio/visual equipment.
- Set up and support mobile devices remotely.
- Prioritize, track, analyze, and report on service requests and tickets.
- Coordinate technical activities for users.
- Provide customer support to Pine Gate Renewable employees.
- Order, maintain, and ship electronic equipment.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in IT support.
- Proven experience providing high-quality technical support and customer service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing and responding to technical incidents.
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing hardware malfunctions (workstations, laptops, printers).
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred).
