The Opportunity We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to maintain, support, and enhance our IT infrastructure.
This role will assist with system administration, troubleshoot technical issues, and support IT projects.
The Skillset
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer.
- Experience in IT support, system administration.
- Experience providing technical support to internal customers.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Proficiency in server administration and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of MacOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems, and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Awareness of basic security principles, antivirus tools, and patch management.
- Experience managing Mobile Device Management systems (Kandji, Jamf, etc).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Proficiency in working cross-functionally.
