Job Details
The IT Systems Engineer administers, configures, and maintains IT systems for end-user devices, services, and enterprise applications. Handles 2nd and 3rd-level technical support, system optimization, and ensures platform stability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration and Maintenance: Administer and maintain core IT systems, including Microsoft Entra, Intune, Jamf, Office 365, MS Defender, and Atlassian tools.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for IT systems and infrastructure issues.
- Network Infrastructure: Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki infrastructure; manage VPN solutions.
- Configuration and Projects: Configure IT systems, lead IT projects, and develop system automation workflows.
- Security and Compliance: Implement IT security measures and ensure compliance.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create system documentation and provide training.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Experience managing enterprise IT systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Entra, Intune, Jamf, Office 365, MS Defender, and Atlassian tools.
- Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, Meraki experience a plus).
- Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
Soft Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset.
Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or Jamf Certified Tech) preferred.
- ITIL certification is an advantage.
