Contractor Java Developer - Telematics (Bilingual)

Prepare technical design and develop telematics product features using Java/J2EE and Database related technologies.

Collaborate with product management teams to translate telematics feature specifications into high-quality deliverables as a strong hands-on technical member in telematics product development activities.

Develop service and client-side code and database scripts to support high-volume transactions.

Produce clean, unit-tested, and refactored code when required.

Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, design solutions to fix defects and stabilize new products.

Analyze and report production issue and ticket trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Analyze current technology and develop processes for improvement and expansion.

Production issue triage and tracking, troubleshooting, ticket creation and maintenance, vendor follow-up.

Satisfy customer requests and provide resolution strategies for incoming issues.

Identify root causes of technical issues in production and come up with RCA documents.

Coordinate root cause analysis and problem management meetings with management stakeholders.

Maintain knowledge of current production system, best practices, and implement them responsibly.

Identify issues and risks related to the Issue/Incident Management program and take escalation actions as necessary.

Interact with project teams for new product development, providing insights from previous product issues.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customer issues and provide resolution strategies.

Remain knowledgeable in current production system, best practices, tools and techniques, and implement them effectively.

Possess strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Has production incident and issue management experience.

Ability to work on complex projects in a multi-vendor environment and coordinate with various stakeholders.

Be self-motivated and flexible in working mode between development and support applications.

Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Be able to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.

Preferable skills:

• SOA vs microservices knowledge.
• Connected car architecture knowledge (systems integration, interface details, in-vehicle services).
• Functional and technical design documents using UML or EA.
• Jenkins, JIRA, Eclipse, Git, Bitbucket, Unix experience.
• Front-end technology knowledge (web-based and smart phone-based applications).
• SSL/TLS certificate knowledge.
• Networking protocols knowledge.
