Our client, a leading European retailer, seeks a Junior Application Management Engineer to optimize business-critical applications in their supply chain and logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Proactive Monitoring: Ensure store databases are error-free and data is correct.
- Incident Triage: Apply ITIL principles to categorize, prioritize, and escalate issues.
- Daily Operations: Independently handle business processes, including error handling and performance tuning.
- Database Management: Perform daily tasks on databases using SQL.
- Collaboration: Act as a communication bridge between IT and business departments.
- Documentation: Maintain and update existing documentation.
Must Have:
- Experience with ticketing systems and understanding of Application Support and Supply Chain processes
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Strong communication skills and a client-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate within global teams
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Good to Have:
- German language proficiency (B2/C1)
