Junior Sales Associate - Customs plays a vital role supporting Sales Representatives, handling administrative and client engagement tasks within the customs brokerage sales cycle.
This role ensures accurate and timely client interactions, allowing senior team members to focus on relationship-building and closing deals.
It provides an excellent entry point into international trade, offering exposure to client service, customs processes, and career advancement opportunities in sales or logistics.
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries via various channels (phone, email, chat, text, WhatsApp) and qualify leads.
- Guide prospective clients (primarily importers) through customs and onboarding documentation.
- Review and organize documents ensuring accuracy and compliance, focusing on U.S. customs requirements.
- Assist with scheduling follow-up calls and maintaining client contact to support the sales pipeline.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team to improve responsiveness and efficiency.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of customer service or inside sales experience.
- Experience in customs brokerage or logistics is preferred, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage ($18.00 - $20.00 per hour).
- Variable commission based on sales performance.

Work Conditions:
- 37.5-hour work week.
- May require additional hours, including weekends and overtime.
