Job Details
Key Account Manager - Focus on select key/strategic clients, embedding and growing business opportunity globally.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Develop strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and identify new business.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess needs, address concerns, and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless service delivery.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
- Prepare and present reports on account performance, forecasts, and insights.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with SGS colleagues to ensure alignment with account strategy and support new business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration and/or life sciences.
- Proven experience in sales, key account management, or CRM.
- Knowledge of the drug development process (CRO experience preferred).
- Fluency in English (written and oral).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
- Ability to travel.
- Experience in Clinical Research or CRO business (or relevant).
- Proven Key Account Management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Analytical mindset and data interpretation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics.
