About PallonAt Pallon, a spin-off from ETH Zurich, we’re creating AI that automatically detects defects in sewer inspection videos and advises cities on when & how to fix them. By providing more precise, objective data, we aim to fix wastewater leaks, reduce CO2 emissions, and prevent urban flooding. Our mission is to make cities more sustainable and resilient.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Education Team, focusing on crafting content and devising strategies for our internal bootcamp and knowledge platform. This entails keeping track of the content we already have while collaborating with our product and other technical writers to ensure that the knowledge base remains current in light of our growing team. Your focus will be on Knowledge Base management.
Your roleWe're a fast growing company and the problems you will face are often challenging and diverse. Some of the tasks you'll be working on are:
- Developing a repository of self-help content, encompassing how-to guides, troubleshooting manuals, FAQs, and video documentation.
- Creating an information-architecture approach to organizing content and materials that is driven by our internal teams needs.
- Embracing metrics, measurement, experimentation, and iterative enhancements.
- Guiding colleagues in refining authoring processes and procedures.
What makes you special
- You possess over 2 years of experience in technical writing or content creation.
- You have experience in providing tailored training and working with SMEs to create content.
- Familiarity with content strategy, spanning planning, writing, delivery, and governance.
- You are comfortable working with agile project management methodologies.
- You have experience overseeing cross-functional projects and collaborations.
- You take on feedback and briefs quickly without needing to be reminded
The following are not required for you to apply, however they do add extra value:
- Understanding of Intercom for Knowledge Base management
- Previous management of a KB or Help Center in SaaS, Tech, other start up related environments
- Familiar with effectively interviewing SMEs and collecting their knowledge
