About the Role:
Bower & Branch is seeking motivated Landscape Architects and Designers to help shape a new model of landscape design.
Looking for designers with strong regional plant knowledge in the Northeast, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop clear and accurate basemaps
- Create landscape designs that balance beauty, function, and plant health
- Meet established deadlines and maintain momentum across multiple projects
- Listen deeply and ask intentional questions to fully understand customer needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong plant knowledge
- Experience in residential landscape design
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfort working directly with customers remotely
- Strong organizational skills

Available 10+ hours a week, depending on season. 3+ years of experience working directly with residential homeowners. Bachelors or Masters degree in landscape architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD and InDesign. The ability to create a basemap remotely. The ability to work independently and make sound design and customer service decisions. A relentless focus on the customer experience, as well as the design process. Tech-savvy and comfortable with navigating Google products, video calls, and project management software. Excited to make an impact, drive results, and create happiness in a high-growth environment.
This is a 1099 contract position. Fees are paid on a monthly basis and based on a flat rate per project.
