Eramosa International, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of market-leading CIMA+ Group, is a specialist firm providing professional consulting engineering services to the Energy, Industrial, and Water/Wastewater sectors.
We are currently looking for individuals interested in a full-time Lead Electrical Engineer role within our company. The successful applicant must have experience in High-Voltage Substation design. The applicant must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference and work autonomously leading designs for critical infrastructure across the Nation.
Our professionals all work from home on a permanent basis using company-supplied equipment. Travel to client sites would be required to support project needs. Our current target markets include KS, CA, TN, FL, TX, OH, MO, MI, MS, NC, NE, and IL.
Responsibilities:
- Development of detailed high-voltage substation design deliverables such as single-lines, three-lines, protection and control schemes, cable and raceway drawings, ductbank drawings, etc.
- Leading and having responsible charge of a substation design team
- Power system analysis software (ETAP, EasyPower, SKM, or equivalent)
- Preparation of studies and technical report writing experience
- Technical specification development for related equipment and materials
- Vendor drawing review for conformance to specifications
Requirements:
- 8 – 10 Years’ experience in the development of detailed high-voltage substation design deliverables
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering license with ability to obtain additional licenses in multiple states
- Knowledge of compliance with relevant electrical and construction codes
Preference will be given to candidates that have some or all of the following:
- Additional experience designing Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems
- Preparation of commissioning procedures and coordinating commissioning of equipment
- Electrical and site safety training (e.g., OSHA 10-hour)
