Job Details
The Lead Site Coordinator supports medical institutions within a geographical area for clinical trial activities. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting staff on protocol-specific tasks.
- Supervising site-level staff.
- Assessing the feasibility of new clinical studies.
- Conducting research-related visits.
- Assisting with scheduling and logistics.
- Collaborating with ancillary departments.
- Data entry into EDC systems.
- Contacting CRO or sponsor representatives.
- Compliance monitoring and training.
Acts as a liaison between the Milestone One Manager, medical institution staff, and the Sponsor or CRO. Facilitates study evaluations, identifies new projects, participates in patient recruitment, and ensures compliance with protocols. Provides training, assists with informed consent, and supports laboratory testing and scheduling. Tracks patient enrollment, ensures data accuracy, and supports investigational product handling.
Responsible for:
- Contract and budget negotiations.
- Ensuring staff training.
- Maintaining study documents.
- Preparing regulatory submissions.
Education: Associate Degree (Nursing preferred) with 5+ years of site coordinator experience.
Certifications: GCP, IATA, CPR, Phlebotomy certification, Clinical Research certification.
Skills: Leadership, communication, GCP/IRB knowledge, patient assessment, and proficiency in EDC/EMR systems.
