Full-Time Legal Nurse Consultant

Legal Nurse Consultant acts as an expert clinical and educational resource to clients, providing real-time advice on their cases and intaking complex medical cases. The role is fully remote and involves managing multiple cases simultaneously.

What you'll do:

• Conduct real-time intakes on cases to align with the best experts.
• Perform real-time chart reviews, focusing on standard of care and physician documentation for chronologies.
• Assist researchers with reviewing expert answers and bios for quality and fit in medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
• Assist in-house MDs with primary research, including literature searches and previous case settlements using LexisNexis Medical Navigator.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of practical experience as an RN or NP.
• 1-2 years experience at a law firm or comparable environment in legal nurse consulting.
• Strong clinical knowledge.
• Proficient word processing and typing skills.
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, organizational, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
