Full-Time Linux Server Administrator

• Install, configure, and maintain Ubuntu Server systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Monitor and optimize server performance, implement system tuning, and manage security through user access controls, firewalls, patching, and hardening.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Bash and Python, and manage backups, disaster recovery, and failover solutions.
• Configure and maintain essential services including Apache/Nginx, MySQL/MongoDB, SSH, DNS, FTP, Redis, RabbitMQ, and administer virtualization platforms like KVM and private cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines.

• Three plus years of experience as a Linux or System Administrator
• Strong proficiency in Ubuntu Server (22.04 or newer) and Linux command-line tools.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Process-oriented work style with clear goals and output focus.
• Hands-on experience with scripting (Bash, Python), system monitoring tools, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs), and version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with administering services such as Apache, PHP, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Linux-related certifications like LPIC or CompTIA Linux+ (preferred).
