Job Details
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented experienced Linux System Administrator to join our growing team! If you're passionate about Linux systems, automation, and continuous learning, we’d love to hear from you.
Tasks:
- Providing OS support for Linux machines
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of Linux-based infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Automate system administrative tasks
- Handling incident tickets
- Clarifying and implementing change tickets
- Processing orders (machine deployment or extension, user creation, etc.)
- Work with other internal teams
Min. Requirements:
- Min. 3 years of proven experience as a Linux administrator
- RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) – at least intermediate knowledge
- BASH scripting – at least intermediate
- Package management – experience with YUM and RPM
- Network management – solid understanding of IP configuration, routing, and local firewalls
- User and group management, including SSH key handling
- Configuration management – basic experience with Ansible
- Automation tools – at least a basic understanding from an admin perspective
- Basic experience with YAML and Jinja
- English – capable of communicating effectively in a professional setting
Nice to have:
- German – communication-level proficiency
- Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Any RHEL certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, etc.)
- Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) certification at any level
