As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux-based infrastructures, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. You will also handle level 2 technical support issues.
Responsibilities:
- Linux Systems Administration: Configure, administer, and maintain Linux servers (CentOS, Red Hat, Rocky Linux), monitor system performance, address degradation or incidents, and manage essential services such as DNS, NFS, Apache/Nginx, SSH, etc.
- In-depth Diagnostics: Identify root causes of problems and propose sustainable solutions.
- Documentation: Document interventions and enrich the knowledge base.
- Security Policies: Implement security policies (firewalls, log monitoring, regular audits).
- Automation: Automate administrative tasks using scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.).
- Management and Orchestration Tools: Deploy and maintain management and orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
- Reporting: Produce regular reports on infrastructure status and actions taken.
Language Skills: Good command of French and English – B2/C1 level.
Linux Expertise: Strong knowledge of Linux systems (especially Rocky Linux, Red Hat, CentOS).
Cloud Knowledge: Good knowledge of public cloud systems (Azure, AWS, OVH).
Scripting Skills: Proficient in scripting (Bash).
Patch Management: Experience with patch management (Uyuni tool training available).
Incident Management: Familiarity with ITIL for incident management.
Change Management: Experience with standard change management.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Priority Management: Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
