Key responsibilities include:
- Writing news and features for Live Science's website.
- Uploading articles to the CMS, finding appropriate images and linking to related articles.
- Fact-checking and ensuring articles adhere to Live Science's style guide.
- Collaborating with the Social Media Editor on short videos, social posts, etc.
- Interviewing scientists to gather information for articles.
- Creating visually engaging science content for social media.
Requirements:
- Strong written English skills and web writing experience.
- Excellent knowledge of science topics.
- Experience researching and writing about science.
- A relevant qualification or degree in a science field is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely.
Compensation: £25,000 - £33,000 per year.
