Full-Time MDM COE Practice Data Architect Lead

McFadyen Digital is seeking a MDM COE Practice Data Architect Lead (COE Lead) to spearhead our Master Data Management (MDM) practice.

This role is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving MDM initiatives, leading enterprise data architecture strategies, and overseeing MDM implementations for global clients.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in EnterWorks and other MDM platforms, enterprise data governance, and cloud-based technologies.

As the COE Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring MDM solutions align with business objectives, data governance standards, and best practices.

You will also mentor architects and consultants, develop training programs, and engage with clients to define roadmaps, optimize data management strategies, and support digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities (Top 5):

1. Lead the strategic development and execution of the MDM practice, including multiple MDM platforms.
2. Provide oversight and technical leadership on MDM projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
3. Design and implement complex data architectures, integrations, and governance models across various technology stacks.
4. Develop and deliver training programs for MDM architects, consultants, and end-users.
5. Engage with clients to understand business requirements, create product roadmaps, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align MDM solutions with enterprise architecture strategies.
• Guide teams in implementing best practices for MDM, PIM, and data governance solutions.
• Support sales and business development efforts by providing technical expertise and solution recommendations.
• Monitor emerging trends in MDM, cloud technologies, and AI-driven data strategies to enhance service offerings.
• Develop project plans, scope timelines, and oversee successful implementation and adoption of MDM solutions.

Qualifications (Top 5):

1. 10+ years of experience in data architecture, MDM, and PIM implementations.
2. Proven expertise in EnterWorks and other MDM platforms, including implementation and strategic planning.
3. Strong experience in enterprise data integration, governance, and architecture design.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, microservices, and SaaS solutions.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with eCommerce platforms and data integration solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable, efficient data solutions.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior architects and consultants.
• Familiarity with industry-standard MDM methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience working in a global consulting environment, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
