Full-Time Mechanical Technician (Diesel Mechanic)

• Completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
• Conducts troubleshooting, correcting deficiencies, making adjustments and alignments, keeping records, conducting repairs and troubleshooting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance activities on farm equipment and machinery.
2. Conducts problem solving activities on causes and corrective measures for mechanical variances.
3. Conducts routine inspection of machinery and equipment operating parameters as prescribed.
4. Performs scheduled lubrication works on plant equipment and machineries.
5. Designs and monitors any mechanical fabrication and installation works.
6. Maintains spare parts inventory and prepares a list of required parts to be ordered.
7. Ensures that all accomplished work orders and other records are documented, up to date, and accurate.
8. Attend emergency service requests and night calls as needed.
9. Ensures the plant is 5S compliant. Assists in leading 5S improvement
10. Performs and leads the start-up of farm equipment.
11. Monitors and analyzes fuel, water and power consumption.
12. Supports in ensuring the repair and maintenance cost is within the monthly budget.

FOOD SAFETY:

Ensures execution of quality, Halal (if applicable), health and food safety policy.

SAP SYSTEM:

Implementation of the SAP Enterprise Asset Management System (SAP EAM), ensuring optimum utilization of the system.

OTHER TASKS:

Actively participate in all company programs and activities.
