Full-Time Medical Science Liaison / Senior Medical Science Liaison

• Interacts with local, regional, and national HCPs, societies, and organizations.
• Provide educational, scientific, and research support for the SOBI rare disease portfolio of products in the hematology franchise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Appropriately interact with key thought leaders and healthcare professionals.
2. Exchange scientific information with external parties in an accurate, fair, and balanced manner.
3. Function as the primary point of contact in the field for Sobi Medical Affairs.
4. Report field intelligence to Sobi including competitive information, perspectives about compounds, disease state, and the treatment landscape.
5. Provide support to the Sobi clinical development and operations teams.
6. Participate in or lead advisory board meetings.
7. Provide internal and external training about preclinical science, clinical data, and outcomes.
8. Represent Sobi at medical conferences and provide session summaries.
9. Provide cross-functional support across the company by being a scientific resource.
10. Develop and maintain an advanced level of knowledge about pertinent studies, compounds, and diseases.
11. Consistently demonstrate a high standard of excellence in the management of assigned territory.

Frequent travel is required.

Requirements:

• Accredited doctorate degree in a life-science or basic-science discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year of MSL experience in therapeutic hematology/oncology
• Demonstrated success managing internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to initiate and maintain relationships throughout the medical community.
