As a valued contributor to our LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) Asset Management team, you will provide guidance on strategies and best practices for managing the assigned portfolio.
You will play a key role in planning, coordinating and overseeing operational activities on the Equity Asset Management team.

The Multifamily LIHTC Advisor role offers flexibility while working alongside caring people. Your responsibilities include:
- Own and manage relationships with syndicator partners throughout development, construction, and operation phases of LIHTC investments.
- Analyze Multifamily portfolio data, counterparties, markets, legal agreements, financial statements, and cash flows to identify trends and draw conclusions.
- Resolve problems, source and analyze information to develop recommendations.
- Present positions to management and external stakeholders to mitigate financial and credit risk in a clear, concise manner.
- Ensure data quality and integrity; assist in automating asset management data.
- Improve processes to monitor and communicate credit risk within the team.
- Lead and support the development of action plans for non-routine project-based work (regulatory and internal audit activities).
- Provide support for operational activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise, best practices, and recommendations to the team.
The Experience You Bring
Minimum Required Experiences:
- 6 years of related experience
Knowledge of:
- Multifamily market (LIHTC Asset Management, affordable housing finance, real estate finance, transactions, structures, legal contracts, loan documents, third-party reports, cap rates)
- Commercial multifamily real estate markets & property types, focusing on LIHTC business
- Proactive assessment and addressing LIHTC credit risk
- Multifamily LIHTC/Equity assets
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicating complex ideas to colleagues and stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and customer relationship management skills
- Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Prioritization skills in a fast-moving environment; management and business literacy
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage time and resources
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel
Desired Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting (or related field)
- Multifamily acquisition and disposition experience
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Experience with portfolio management software (e.g., MRI, Salesforce, Yardi)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint)
